The simplest form of access control for any building would be a restricted key section master key suite with sub levels allowing access to certain areas for those staff who need access and denying others. However, this obviously has its limitations as keys could be lost or passed around and there is no traceability of movement.
The next solution is mechanical and electronic standalone digital door locking where codes can be changed frequently and easily, allowing control for change of staff and ensuring that the correct staff only have access to areas equal to the level of the position in the company maintaining building security.
A single door access control system kit is quite simple requiring a power supply, a control unit, a reader (this can be a keypad, fob reader or fingerprint reader) and either an electric release or electric lock. You might also require a door closer, push to exit button and fire brigade access depending on your requirements.
We can supply both simple 2 way phone entry and video system kits pre-assembled requiring only your choice of door unlocking method i.e. electric release or motorised lock. Larger than two phone video and phone systems are custom assembled for you and are in stock with your choice of fob entry, pin code entry or card access.
All of the above are usually combined with either a mechanical lock with a restricted key profile so key control is maintained with an electric release or either magnetic locking or a electric/motorised lock also with a secure cylinder key override. Anti snap euro cylinders locks are a popular option.
