Installing Home Safes
For moving Free standing safes use cut up lengths of broom handle eight inches wider than the safe being moved to avoid trapping fingers and if any doubt ask your local Master Locksmith member to install it for you.
If moving freestanding safes up or down stairs then use boards to spread the load and straps to prevent it sliding back down using a winch or two people at the top of the stairs controlling the ascent or decent.
Safes should be securely attached where possible to the building.
